How to Install ZLink on Android Auto Head Unit
Unleash the full potential of your Android head unit with ZLink for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.

With ZLINK, you can use your favorite apps on your car’s screen wirelessly via your Android phone's Bluetooth and WiFi connection. It is the software backbone for many aftermarket head units.
Installation & Activation
Step 1: Install/Update ZLINK
ZLINK is usually pre-installed on supported aftermarket Android head units (Teyes, Atoto, etc.). It is not on the Play Store. Use your head unit's "Car Settings" or "Factory Settings" to find updates.
Step 2: Automatic Activation
- Ensure your head unit is connected to the Internet.
- Open ZLINK. It should activate automatically.
Step 3: Access Bluetooth
- On your phone, turn on Bluetooth.
- Pair with your Car Head Unit's Bluetooth name.
Step 4: Enable Android Auto
- On your phone, go to Settings > Android Auto.
- Ensure "Wireless Android Auto" is enabled in developer settings if not on by default.
Step 5: Connect
Once Bluetooth connects, ZLINK should automatically trigger the WiFi projection and launch Android Auto.
Troubleshooting
- Connection Failed: Reset the head unit's WiFi and Bluetooth. Forget the car from your phone's Bluetooth list and re-pair.
- Black Screen: Update the ZLINK APK from the manufacturer's website.
